What its all about!

Fellow travelers,

My goal is simple. To encourage people of all walks of life to get out and enjoy bicycle travel. To do this I have started… Venture Bike!

This is a resource for people to help simplify bicycle touring. It could be anything from finding a local weekend bikepacking route to planning their first big bicycle tour. Sometimes, for many people it easier said than done. This is where I come in.

My job is to identify, research and create trips. This means I will create a full itinerary from the moment you leave your house to the end of your journey. Connecting with my clients and identifying with them is by far the most important . The way I put everything together is really catered to you. So the research going into the plan is thorough. Planning a tour can be an overwhelming task. With most of us living busy lives there isn't enough time to find all the details. That being said I have simplified this task by doing this all for you.

These are the main things I need to build your trip:

1 : Identify

I want to know where, when, how. Where you want to go? What’s your timeframe? How do you want to ride? Ex. I want to travel the North coast of Scotland in 1 week. I plan on renting a bike and staying only at hotels. What would you like to see or do on your trip? Also tell me about your self, what is your feelings on cycling.

2: Research

This is what the actual route will be. Turn by turn directions and a map of the entire route. Using one of the many tools available to do this. Either online or offline. Finding all the places to stay according to the mileage you feel is comfortable. Finding all the fun stuff to do along the way.

3: Create

Putting everything together in one simple easy to read easy to understand travel itinerary. Including daily mileage goals, food stops, camping, hotels, sites to see, kid friendly places, etc.

What you need to know

To make this as simple and as affordable as possible. My goal is prepare the most cost effective trip, while still utilizing the best and most safest options available. I search all the best prices from hotels, dinning, tour groups, etc. Once I have come up with the best selections I will send them to you for review and then you make the final arrangements. This way the financial aspect of making or canceling reservations will be as speedy as possible. I feel this is the best way to keep it simple.

If your not sure about where you want to go or what is a safe area to travel, please contact me. I am more than happy to just talk about places to go see. If you or someone you know has a disability and would like to join you, I can absolutely research any options that are available. Please don't hesitate to contact me to have a chat.

I look forward to hearing from you!

Scott Muller
